The Orange Christmas Market & Tree Lighting returns to Old Towne Orange Plaza on Sunday, December 6, 2026. The Christmas Market runs during the day, followed by the evening Christmas program, candlelight choir procession and tree lighting in the heart of the Orange Circle.

Orange Plaza Traditions, Inc. (OPT) produces the Christmas Market & Tree Lighting. In 2026, OPT assumed production and financial responsibility for this event along with Treats in the Streets and the Orange International Street Fair.
Christmas Market
The Christmas Market takes place from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. around Old Towne Orange Plaza before the evening tree lighting program. Alcohol sales are scheduled to end at 5:30 p.m.
Tree Lighting & Christmas Program
The Christmas program begins at 5:15 p.m. and continues until 7:00 p.m., with the traditional musical program, carols, orchestra, candlelight choir procession and tree lighting at Old Towne Orange Plaza.
