Orange County has many communities, homes, properties and real estate with big lots and acreage. Many large lot homes can be found in older communities where single family ranch homes were popular in the 60s and earlier. Many newer communities are on smaller lots for the simple reason that developers can maximize value by building more homes on smaller lots. However, there are newer communities with large lot sizes as well such as Coto de Caza and Nellie Gail Ranch in Laguna Hills. There are also many cities where large lot homes can be found amongst smaller lots such as Anaheim, Irvine and beautiful coastal properties in Newport Coast and Laguna Beach. Plus pockets of cities where large lots are abound such as Peralta Hills and Crawford Canyon. Most Villa Park homes are over a half an acre with many even more expansive acreage.
Here are the areas in Orange County where homes with big lots for sale can be found to start your home buying search. For this list we are defining large lot houses as anything lot that size that is greater than a half acre (20,000 square feet).
