Villa Park High School football is headed to one of Southern California’s biggest sports stages. The Spartans will play Tustin High School in a Bravo League game at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood on Thursday, October 15, 2026, at 5:00 p.m.
The game was originally scheduled to be played at El Modena High School, but coaches from Villa Park and Tustin confirmed this week that the league matchup has been moved to SoFi Stadium, home of the NFL’s Los Angeles Rams and Los Angeles Chargers.

Why Is Villa Park Playing at SoFi Stadium?
The October 15 matchup had been scheduled for El Modena High School before being shifted to SoFi Stadium. Villa Park normally plays its varsity home football games at Fred Kelly Stadium in Orange, so the move gives players from both Orange County programs a rare opportunity to compete in an NFL stadium.
The game also comes during a school year in which the football field and track at Villa Park High School are undergoing a major renovation. That construction, however, has not substantially changed the varsity team’s normal home arrangement because Villa Park already plays varsity home games at Fred Kelly Stadium. A Rare High School Game at an NFL Stadium
SoFi Stadium seats approximately 70,000 fans and is one of the largest stadiums in the NFL. In addition to serving as the home of the Rams and Chargers, the Inglewood venue has hosted the Super Bowl, the College Football Playoff National Championship and other major sporting events.
For Villa Park and Tustin players, the October game will put a regular-season Orange County league matchup on a field usually reserved for the highest levels of football.
Villa Park and Tustin in the Bravo League
Villa Park and Tustin are members of the Bravo League along with Capistrano Valley, Corona del Mar, Crean Lutheran and La Habra. The SoFi Stadium matchup falls in the middle of Villa Park’s league schedule.
Villa Park opened the 2026 season with three consecutive wins, defeating Farrington in Hawaii, Western and Upland. Tustin entered mid-September with a 3-1 record after victories over Foothill, Long Beach Poly and Damien.
