Gary Buckels is a former Major League pitcher with the St. Louis Cardinals and a longtime professional and youth pitching coach. He now provides private baseball instruction for players in the Villa Park, Orange, Anaheim Hills and Huntington Beach areas, working with youth, travel, high school and college players.
Buckels made his Major League debut with St. Louis on July 23, 1994 and appeared in 10 games for the Cardinals that season, posting a 2.25 ERA over 12 innings.

- Received a full scholarship to Cal State Fullerton and pitched for the Titans.
- Signed with the California Angels organization in 1987.
- Was selected as a Midwest League All-Star in 1988 and advanced to Double-A Midland.
- Pitched for Triple-A Edmonton from 1989 through 1992.
- Joined the St. Louis Cardinals organization in 1993.
- Reached the Major Leagues with the St. Louis Cardinals in 1994.
- Made his MLB debut on July 23, 1994 after recording the save in the Triple-A All-Star Game.
- Appeared in 10 MLB games for St. Louis in 1994 with a 2.25 ERA over 12 innings.
- Later pitched in Triple-A, including with Toledo.
