Who Can Play for Villa Park Little League?
Little League changed its player eligibility rules beginning with the 2025 season. Players who are League Age 4–7 may register with any Little League program, regardless of where they live or attend school. If they maintain continuous and unbroken participation with that league, they can remain eligible with the league as they get older, provided other Little League eligibility requirements are met.
For players League Age 8 and older, eligibility is generally established through residence within the league boundary, attendance at a school physically located within the league boundary, or uninterrupted participation with the league since League Age 7. Other situations may require an approved waiver through Little League International.
Because individual situations can differ, families should confirm eligibility with VPLL and review the Little League homepage for current rules and resources.
Villa Park Little League Boundaries
VPLL’s traditional geographic area includes Villa Park and portions of Orange, including Serrano Heights, Mabury Ranch, areas near Via Escola and Olive, and areas extending west toward the Santa Ana River. Boundaries remain important for many players League Age 8 and older.
Use the Little League Finder to check whether a home or school address falls within a league’s current official boundary.
For school-based eligibility, Little League uses the physical location of the school where the player attends classes. Families who do not otherwise meet eligibility requirements should contact VPLL about whether a Little League International waiver may apply.
