Turkey on Trails will be held on the trails of Irvine Regional Park and Santiago Oaks Regional Park. Come enjoy a challenging and fun Thanksgiving-themed 5K or 10K. Both courses are on trails and the 10K has some tough, hilly, technical sections. All participants receive a custom race medal, high quality t-shirt, race photos and post-race snacks. The top 3 overall men and women finishers in the 5K and 10K race receive special awards and prizes.

Event Details
- Age group awards three deep in the following categories: 9 and under, 10-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+
- Vehicle entry is $5 at Irvine Regional Park
- Strollers are not permitted on this course
- This is paper-cupless race. Every participant is required to carry his/her own water or container for water
- There will be 3 refill stations on the 10K and one on the 5K course with water and sports drink

- Santiago Creek Trail to Willows
- Willows to Egret
- Continue on Egret to Santiago Creek and go over the dam (Aid Station #1 / #3)
- Follow Santiago Creek Trail to Bobcat Meadow
- Bobcat Meadow to Sage Ridge
- Sage Ridge to Wilderness Trail to Peralta Hills (vertical begins!)
- Peralta Hills to Oak (downhill, technical) – Aid Station #2
- Peralta Hills to Sage Ridge to Bobcat Meadow
- Bobcat Meadow to Santiago Creek, over the dam the same route we came on
- Once over dam (Aid Station #1 / #3) follow Santiago Creek Trail back to the finish
- Start/Finish in Irvine Regional Park near Group Area 4 / Parking Lot 2
- Santiago Creek Trail to Egret
- Run Egret to end where it intersects with Santiago Creek Trail. (Aid Station #1)
