The Irvine Park Railroad at Irvine Regional Park is celebrating 27 years. They are marking the event with a special anniversary celebration on February 24-25, 2024. Prices for train rides will be $2, just like the original prices when the Irvine Park Railroad opened in 1996. Guests will also enjoy popcorn, cotton candy, and ice cream for $2 each. Activity tickets purchased for the anniversary celebration are only valid during the anniversary event. Guests will be given a raffle ticket for every activity ticket purchased. Raffles will be held every hour at the Locomotive Loop and winners must be present to receive their prizes. Don’t miss out on all the fun at this family event at Irvine Regional Park.

Park entrance fee: $5 per vehicle
During holiday seasons and special event times, Santiago Canyon College located outside the entrance to the park has overflow parking on the weekends for a fee.

In addition to the special event activities, Irvine Regional Park has many other activities to enjoy including pony rides, the OC Zoo, bike and paddle boat rentals, a fishing lake, hiking trails, and a nature center.
