The longstanding Yang Ming Garden previously located in Orange has replaced another longstanding restaurant, China Panda in Villa Park. Known for their Chinese noodle and rice dishes, Yang Ming Garden serves items such as Moo Goo Gai Pan, Kung Pao Chicken, Mu Shu Pork, Sweet and Sour Pork and Beef Chow Feng Noodles.
Owner Daniel Teng posted on the Yang Ming website that the new location was re-established “at 17853 Santiago Boulevard Suite 102, Villa Park, which is very close to our previous address… The restaurant will be interpolated with a few new concepts, but we will still preserve the same warm atmosphere, all of your favorite staff members, and — of course — delicious, fresh food. “
Yang Ming replaces China Panda which was purchased by Michael DeAngelo Jr. in 2017. The restaurant continued to use the previous owners’ authentic recipes combined with DeAngelo’s own concept “Wok Hei” meaning “Breath of the wok”. The “Wok Hei” location in Tustin that was opened in March of 2019 will remain open.
