Orange County athletic directors and principals have proposed new league configurations that would see football-only leagues and a 15-school non-football Century Conference. County high schools are at the end of the current two-year league cycle where county athletic directors and principals begin to propose new league memberships.
The CIF Southern Section Council will vote on the releaguing proposals in October and schools can appeal the proposals at that time. If approved, these new league configurations would take effect for the 2024-25 and 2025-26 school years.

Proposed Changes
Football Only Leagues
The football-specific leagues would be based on a rankings system where each team is evaluated upon its performance from the previous two seasons.

- 35% weight based on the previous season.
