Gather with family and friends for the ceremonial tree lighting. This is a beautiful moment when the holiday tree lights up in true Americana style and bursts into brilliant color.
Take a picture with Santa, see his reindeer, and join in a fun party with seasonal music and patriotic sparkle to make memories that will last. Enjoy Back-Burner Soup from Polly’s Pies while you walk through the Library’s gardens by candlelight and drink hot cocoa.
Food trucks will be in the Library parking lot starting at four o’clock.
Annual Holiday Tree Showcase
Date: November 28, 2025 – January 4, 2026
Come see an eighteen-foot Christmas tree greets guests in the lobby. Walk down the Loker Hallway to see twelve trees that are all beautifully decorated and have their own theme. This year’s main attractions are American Presidents and First Ladies, as well as old favorites like the Elvis Tree and the Nutcracker Tree.
The Library grounds come to life with bright poinsettias and holiday decorations. This year, don’t miss Richard Nixon’s famous “Woody” station wagon, which he used during his 1950 U.S. Senate campaign. It’s on special display in front of the Library, with holiday decorations.
